about the film
SYNOPSIS:
"Fancy Meeting You Here" an original work by Laura Walker, based on the life experiences of Rosemary Clooney. It's 1968, a tumultuous time for our country and ourselves. Still reeling from Bobby Kennedy's assassination and a career halted by a nervous breakdown, we follow Rosemary Clooney as she enters Cedars Sinai Hospital. Here she is faced not only with new characters, but her own truths as well. Starring Laura Walker as Rosemary Clooney.
THE JOURNEY:
Originally conceived as a one act play and writing exercise, "Fancy Meeting You Here," has now blossomed into a full length feature film after audiences asked Ms. Walker, "what happens next?" Not just a passion project, but has become a story of trial and triumph that can be shared by many.
FILM FESTIVALS:
We are proud to announce that the short we filmed, has made it's first round on the film festival circuit and has already come back a winner. "Official Selection" at the OASIS SHORT FILM SCREENING SERIES and an "Official Selection" and a win for "Best Independent Short" at the INDEPENDENT FILMMAKERS SHOWCASE. We wanted to give the world a taste of what we are capable of in order to bring the full journey to life.

Current STATUS
